Project Suggestions

After our blog project, we will be doing a different project with our independent reading books. What book projects have you done in the past that you have enjoyed? What would be a good way to show me what you have read? Comment to this post and leave your suggestions!

In 6th grade we had to bring in a shoe box and decorate it with things that are related to the book that you are reading. We could also put things inside. We had to tell the class what everything was and why we put it on our box. It was a really fun project and one of the only ones I have done because I haven't been to public school since 6th grade.

last year, our class got in reading groups (but we could do this alone as well) and read a book of our choice, and picked out the theme, and made a trailor on windows movie maker to explain and show the theme of our book. we also brought in musice from home, or added music that was already on the computer into our trailors. it was a very fun and enjoyable project.
